Wine / Wings / Wall Street

So as I said before in my last post.. it can be a little difficult finding places to go later at night in the financial district. So we went wandering through the streets..after all we are in NYC we will end up running into something! Which is just what we did but that wasn’t before it started raining on us so we were running through the streets of NYC taking many turns on many blocks. Of course we were laughing the whole way as we are getting soaked by the rain and not finding any restaurant. We eventually end up at this cute little Italian place! We ended up not eating italian at all because theres something you will learn about me.. I love wings and I will find them every place I go! The person traveling with me happens to share the same love for wings like me. So we order a bottle of wine and wings.. the bottle of wine was to keep it classy as we are chowing down on wings in NYC! So dinner was a perfect one in my books..for me it can’t get much better than wings and wine! Now the tricky part to get back to the hotel! If you remember from what I said earlier it had started raining on us and we were laughing enjoying ourselves not paying attention to where we were going. Probably like rule #1 of travel is always pay attention to where you go so you know your way back! Well its not as great of an adventure if thats the case. So we start by taking the wrong turn from the restaurant (not realizing it at the time). So here goes the misadventure… we start walking thinking we know where and then bam it starts raining on us again! So here we go running in circles again trying to find our way back. It ends up we are running along and I look up and go no way theres wall street oh wait we are on wall street. So we are running in the rain completely lost running down the middle of wall street! Im so glad we got lost because it was so neat to see the city streets that are usually packed with cars, taxis, honking, and tons of people hurrying completely silent with only the glow of street lights and calming rainfall.
