When in New York City...

Here is just a few of the fun and interesting things I had the chance to experience while in New York and I recommend it to anyone visiting there!
Battery Park is a cute little park in the middle of the city with amazing views of the water. Theres a place you can go to a rooftop and look over the water and get the most breathtaking views.
One thing I really enjoyed was a food truck right around the block from my hotel. It's right across the street from Battery Park. They had amazing mexican food and such a cute little sitting area outside, remember to where ever you go always support the local businesses!
Every morning I went for a run around the area of my hotel which happened to be a couple blocks from the Brooklyn Bridge. It's so incredible just looking around and taking in all the gorgeous views of the city. If you are the workout type of person, it should definitely be on your bucket list to go for a run over the Brooklyn Bridge, if not take the time to walk on it!
Central Park is another beautiful place in the heart of New York City! It is so nice getting a little change of pace from the busy city streets to walk into a lush green scenery. I spent an entire afternoon just relaxing there! My hometown is full of green during the summer time and many trees and parks every where. So the coolest part for me was when I layed down in the middle of the park and looked up to see the NYC skyscrapers..what a view!
